This is the first book review I've ever done, so don't laugh! Anyway, I just read the book Pagan's Scribe by Catherine Jinks. It was different from the other books in the series because it was about the Pagan's scribe, instead of Pagan. I picked it up expecting another book about Pagan. Don't get me wrong, here. It did decribe Pagan a lot, but not as much as his scribe. The book was also from the scribe's point of view, so it was kind of a surprise. It was a little boring, and kind of gory. Well, over all, it wasn't a really good book. 2 1\2 stars, I'd say. How did I do on my first book review? Please tell me the truth about that. I think that, from now on, I'm only going to do reviews on the books I really hate, or the books I really like.
I need to tell you all first, I LOVE BOOKS. Books are wonderful. They take you into another world beyond the crime, hate, school:) and other unwanted things here. Since I love books, I read A LOT! Since school got out, I have read 22 books. This isn't very many, compared to last summer. Last summer I read 67 books and 15, 651 pages (yes, I record it) So far this smmer I've read about 4,500 pages. I am also competing against my home room teacher. She also reads a lot. I doubt I will win, but I probably will beat the majority of the kids in my class. Here are the books I've read and their pages. I recommend all the ones that end in Shannara and all the ones that start with Pagan('s) Enjoy! Also, if you like any books I don't have on here, please tell me!
